Dr. Sean Fitzpatrick, PhD, LPC, is a psychotherapist, educator, and the executive director of The Jung Center in Houston, where he has been part of the community since 1997. With master's degrees in religious studies from Rice University and clinical psychology from the University of Houston, Sean completed his PhD in psychology with a specialization in Jungian studies from Saybrook University. His work combines traditional clinical psychology with the depth psychology principles of Carl Jung, providing a collaborative learning approach to mental health and well-being.
In addition to his role at The Jung Center, Sean is a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum and a facilitator for their fellows classes. He is an active psychotherapist in private practice and frequently presents lectures and workshops to organizations around the world, including the Jung Societies of Washington, DC, and Austin, Texas, the San Francisco Jung Institute, and the University of Notre Dame of Haiti.
Dr. Fitzpatrick’s work emphasizes the contemporary value of Jungian and depth psychology techniques in understanding and addressing mental health challenges. He is the author of The Ethical Imagination: Exploring Fantasy and Desire in Analytical Psychology, which explores the intersections of imagination, ethics, and psychological development.
