John Kent is a dedicated shamanic teacher, facilitator, and Chemical Engineer, graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994. Since 1996, John has undergone extensive apprenticeship in shamanic traditions, honing a deep understanding of spiritual practices and integrating them with his analytical approach as an engineer. His work blends shamanic wisdom with scientific inquiry, creating a unique approach to personal and spiritual growth.


John is known for his practical and insightful teachings on shamanism and exploring how dreams can serve as powerful tools for self-evolution and expanded awareness. For over 20 years, he has traveled internationally to teach and facilitate workshops, sharing his exploration of shamanism and the transformative role of dreaming in personal growth. He combines scientific perspectives on dream research with the profound insights of shamanic traditions, offering his students transformative practices.


Drawing on his engineering background, particularly in process optimization, John approaches shamanism with a practical mindset rooted in his belief that “there is always a way.” His teaching style is down-to-earth, engaging, and often infused with humor, making complex shamanic concepts accessible and relatable. Outside of his work, John is an avid cyclist and hiker, and he enjoys working on personal projects like building solar systems and exploring new technologies.
